Hold Your Heart

Hold your heart.

This is the biggest thing I've learned from God in this past season of life. Our hearts are the most valuable currency we hold in our possession. It's not something to be taken lightly.

Whether it's friends, family or a loved one, we must choose carefully who we give our hearts to. The heart is the center core of who we are. It runs the ship. And what we do with it can either make or break us. That's why it is crucial that we make sure to give our hearts to God so that he can cultivate it, grow it and protect it.

God designed our hearts to be the greatest treasure that we hold. It's from His heart that we are loved and made. So why wouldn't we view our own heart as an extension of that?

Take time to think about where your heart is at. Who or what have you given your heart to? Is it in the right hands? Is it in the best hands?

We must first give our hearts to God before we can effectively expose it with love to others around us. It is what allows us the capacity to love and understand God's core.

Don't treat your heart like loose change. It is your greatest currency and treasure.

Hold your heart.
