My thoughts for today are pretty short and simple:

Many of us, myself included, can spend too much time planning our lives out and worrying about what's next. It's pretty exhausting.

While preparation is key for certain parts of life, we cannot let our desire for practicality get in the way of life's adventure.

The adventure of chasing after the risk God wants us to take. Because that risk is better and more rewarding than our plan.

So let today be a day of risk. Good risk. Don't worry, you do not need to compromise your morals. Please don't. But take a good, healthy risk. Whether it involves a person, place, thing, or even all three, listen for the call of adventure that's echoing from your heart. What does it sound like? What kind of risk is it echoing to you?

Often times, the path that requires less practical control and more higher trust is the adventurous path of God. Follow it.
